What was the highlight of Wangcome Hotel
The Wangcome Hotel ... The pleasant place to stay in the centre of Chiang Rai city.
The Wangcome Hotel is always a very nice place to visit, it has a pleasant "Big Hotel" atmosphere with very friendly staff and service. The parking is very spacious, easy to get to and right outside the entrance. They serve a great breakfast selection and the rooms are usually very quiet and roomy with good TV channels.
The rooms are getting a little bit dated now but I find that very attractive ... lots of atmosphere!

The staff were fantastic but the hotel was a disappointment.
The location and the staff
The air con rattled The Fridge was so noisy had unplug it. There was random noises in the wall during the night. No coffee and tea making facilities in room, first time I have seen this. Refusal to change 1000thb note to smaller notes at the reception desk is very bad service for guests. The hotel was once grand but now there seems to be reticence to repairing and updating the facilities.

Nice place, I will consider it on future trips.
An older hotel with updated rooms that are very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
I never found the light switch for the bathroom but made do
